Booking & Cancellation Policy
When you book a place with Wise, Wild & Well, that place is reserved for you and is no longer available for someone else to book. We also begin putting time and care into planning the event – from the teaching, timings and food to materials, venue costs and all the little details that make each gathering special. This is why, if you cancel, we are unable to provide a refund except as outlined below. Thank you for your understanding.
Studio Events & Day Retreats
If you need to cancel your place:
- More than 28 days before the event: you can receive a full refund, less any non-refundable card or payment processing fees.
- Within 28 days of the event: bookings are non-refundable, but you are very welcome to transfer your place to a friend. Please let us know beforehand so that we have the correct contact, health and dietary information for the person attending.
Residential Retreats
Residential retreats involve significant advance costs and commitments, including accommodation and catering, so a longer cancellation period applies.
Where your place is secured by a deposit:
If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to a friend. Please let us know beforehand so that we have the correct details for the person attending.
Where possible, we will also do our best to fill your place from a waiting list. If we are able to resell your place, we will refund the payments you have made, less the non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable card or payment processing fees.
We strongly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance when booking a residential retreat.

- 90 days or more before the retreat: any payments made will be refunded, less the non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable card or payment processing fees.
- Less than 90 days before the retreat: payments are non-refundable.

If We Need to Cancel or Make Changes
If Wise, Wild & Well chooses to cancel an event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to an alternative date.
Very occasionally, circumstances beyond our reasonable control may mean that an event has to be changed, postponed or cancelled. This might include severe weather, government restrictions, natural disasters or the failure of a venue or other third-party supplier to provide their services.
In these circumstances, refunds will not be given, but we will do our best to offer a suitable alternative or rearranged date.
We cannot be responsible for additional costs you may incur as a result of a change, postponement or cancellation, such as travel or accommodation costs. We therefore strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance for residential retreats.
