A place to slow down

Set on a windy ridge overlooking the Cherhill White Horse, the studio is surrounded by two acres of wildflower meadow, with beehives and a young orchard. It feels wonderfully tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside, with space to breathe, slow down and step away from the busyness of everyday life.
Despite its rural setting, the studio is within easy reach of Chippenham, Calne, Corsham, Devizes, Malmsbury, Marlborough and the surrounding villages.

Our Story

Wise, Wild & Well grew from a close friendship between myself and fellow yoga teacher Jane Rourke, and was born during the many long walks and chats that kept us sane through lockdown. As the world began to open up, we wanted to bring like-minded women together to enjoy yoga, nature and connection as part of a supportive and nurturing community.

Over the next five years, we created and hosted countless retreats together in beautiful places, sharing weekends filled with yoga, good food, time outdoors, rest and plenty of laughter. Along the way, a wonderful community grew around them.

In 2026, Jane stepped back and Wise, Wild & Well began a new chapter, with a permanent home of its own. At its heart, though, the original intention remains the same: to create a warm and welcoming place to move, gather together and enjoy the simple pleasure of time well spent with others.

Come as you are

You don't need to be particularly flexible, creative, experienced - or anything else ;-) - to come along.
Some people arrive on their own, others with a friend. Some come for the yoga, some for a particular event, and some simply like having somewhere to go that feels a little slower.
There will be seasonal yoga courses, retreat days, creative gatherings, and unhurried mornings with time for tea, cake and a chat.
You are very welcome to join us.

Absolutely. You don't need to be flexible or experienced. Each event or course will say if any previous experience is helpful, but most are suitable for complete beginners.

Yes. Lots of people do. The studio is friendly and informal, and there is always time to settle in and get to know people.

What should I wear?
Anything comfortable that you can move easily in. Layers are a good idea, particularly for relaxation at the end of a yoga session.

Is everything held at the studio?
No. Alongside events at the studio, I also run community yoga classes and special events at other venues, as well as residential retreats further afield. You'll find all upcoming dates on the What's On page.
